Black Sabbath's 1978 world tour was the last one Ozzy finished with the band. Van Halen opened it, Sabbath fired him the following April, and the three of them did not play as Black Sabbath again until Ozzfest in 1997. Both ends of that gap are in this drop. The 1978 world tour shirt is here, and so is a 1997 Black Sabbath Ozzfest shirt from the summer they finally did it, with most of the twenty years in between: Ultimate Sin in 1986, Blizzard Of Ozz, Just Say Ozzy, Theatre Of Madness, Ozzmosis, Retirement Sucks, and Ozzfest shirts running through 2007. The two tattoo pieces are one set of artwork printed twice. The white long sleeve carries a flaming logo over a blue cat head with tattoos down both sleeves, and the black 1992 all over print uses the same cat, the same MOM banner, the same rose. Deeper in: shirts dated 1978 and 1979 from Genesis, Kansas, Styx, Emerson Lake And Palmer and Jethro Tull, a Foreigner world tour piece that is knitwear rather than a tee, two Live Aid Philadelphia tanks, Phish from Big Cypress, a Grateful Dead shirt from St Louis five weeks before Garcia died, The Who, Rush, Robert Plant, Deep Purple, and a run of team jerseys.
