Collection 473 starts at Woodstock. The headliner is a 1969 Peace Staff windbreaker, made for the people working the festival, and it comes with a ringer shirt from the Atlantic City Pop Festival held two weeks earlier the same summer. The Rolling Stones cover 25 years here, from a 1972 Tongue shirt made while Exile on Main St was on the charts to a 1997 Tongue. Led Zeppelin brings a 1979 Knebworth shirt from their last great UK stand and a 1980 European Final Tour shirt from the final shows they played with John Bonham. Two 1977 Sex Pistols Never Mind The Bollocks promo shirts survive from a record stores refused to stock. Two Mother Love Bone shirts mark the Seattle band that came before Pearl Jam. Deeper in: Grateful Dead tie-dyes, seventies venue shirts from Atlanta and Chicago, a Metallica run, The Who, Springsteen, Ozzy, and Michael Jackson. Authenticated, never reproductions, one of one.
